I really value trying to keep a sincere spirit of curiosity: I aim to approach this newsletter as a process of exploring ideas and sharing my discoveries with my readers. Whether I'm writing book reviews, art criticism, or recipes, I love when I find new questions or pleasantly surprising conclusions, and I like to believe that my readers get more out of my work that way.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I myself have also been thinking of putting my voice out there since last year, which is why I began writing on Substack, yet I wanted to do more and go into "content creation", and although everyone has to go through their own set of challenges, reading yours helps me put my trust in the process - to be patient with it.

I'm not sure I'm at a stage where I could dispense advice, but from what I can tell after a year and a half of storytelling here on this platform is that there will always come a point when you feel a story goes nowhere, that it sucks and you suck - it's a given. And the best things come after you persevere, on the other side of that slump.
